First time booking on SriLankan Airlines website and it was horrible. After paying nearly USD 2,000, I received only a booking confirmation, not the ticket. Had to contact customer service multiple times just to get it, with no apology. Dubai customer service closes around 5 p.m., WhatsApp replies were slow, seat selection costs extra, and the website is confusing. Very disappointed. Try another airline.

The reason behind the score i gave is because, we were going on a trip to Sri Lanka after 10 years. It was my children's first time on Sri Lankan Airlines but to our disappointment , we ended up staying around 4 to 5 hours in the plane because of delays. We were expected to fly that day but it got canceled after all. We had to go through immigration and bag collection again. We also booked accommodation and we had to delay all of our plans. We have lost nearly $3000 booking hotel accommodation,

I have send several emails and applied online to avail the student benifits, but didn't got any reply. Srilankan airlines is lying about student benifits and not making 10% refund, neither giving additional 10kg luggage. I was getting same ticket from MMT with 5k less price, but I choose to book through Srilankan app, avoid the airlines, just making students fool.
