Patina is a home maintenance tracker that helps homeowners stay on top of recurring upkeep, seasonal tasks, and household reminders. WHAT IT DOES

• A calm Today list. Open the app and see exactly what your home needs today. A short, finishable list — usually nothing at all, and that's a good day too.

• A library of 40+ real tasks. Gutters, dryer vents, HVAC filters, smoke detectors, water heaters, sprinklers, grout, refrigerator coils. Nine categories: Safety, HVAC, Appliances, Plumbing, Exterior, Interior, Garbage & Recycling, Seasonal, and Lawn & Garden. Each arrives with a sensible schedule and a note on why it's worth doing, so the answer to "how often should I…" is already there when you need it.

• Your own tasks too. Anything the library doesn't cover — write it in seconds, on whatever rhythm your home actually keeps.

• A reminder on the day it's due. One notification each morning, at an hour you choose, and you can complete or snooze it right from the notification. Several things due the same day arrive as one reminder, not a pile of them.

• A home-screen widget. What's due today at a glance, with a circle on each task to mark it complete right there. It follows your light or dark theme on its own and refreshes at midnight.

• A satisfying swipe to mark it done. It's a small thing. You'll like it.

If you want them on more than one device, you can connect your own Google Drive — and that's your choice to make, not something Patina assumes. When you do, Patina asks for a single permission that reaches one private folder reserved for this app. We can't see anything else in your Drive, we can't see that folder either, and nobody is building a profile out of your home. Until you connect it, Patina works completely offline.
