With the app "CastPlay" you can use your mobile phone to control your Smart TV over the local network. Make sure your mobile phone and Smart TV are connected to the same home network. It is better to set your router to 5G mode, and then connect your Smart TV to the wired network. If your router supports a privacy separator function, make sure it is disabled.

It connects easily if you have the app on the TV .For example you have this app in the Google smart TV. You can connect it through a vi fi network .you don't need a router or any of those . You can just connect to a network and open the app and click cast play or the other options . It is very easy and efficient to use.The best .

The interface to choose the video you want to play is pretty bad. I literally can't find a video that I have just downloaded. It would be very helpful if it had an option to choose video by using the file names that the videos are in or else let us choose the video from local file manager app. Other than that the app sometimes fails to load even photos sometimes. But the UI is good and pretty.
