Anyone can claim your photo or video is fake — that you edited it, cropped it, retouched it, or changed the date. SnapProof shows when and where you took it, and that your original hasn't been altered in any way. Anyone can check it's real on a public website, and you get a professional certificate you can share — no app, no account needed.

You're still trusting the app. SnapProof is different: every certified snap is confirmed by an independent timestamp authority using RFC 3161, an open standard anyone can check. Edit, crop, retouch, or change your photo or video after you take it, and the check instantly fails. That's not your word anymore — it's independent confirmation anyone can verify.

SnapProof certifies a digital fingerprint of your file, never the content itself — a short string of numbers made from your photo or video. It can't be turned back into your file, but it catches any change, down to a single pixel. We check the fingerprint. We never look at what you captured.

Seems great, I like they give you 1 free try. But I'm really hoping i read it wrong, it looks like it costs $9.99 per picture?! If so, that's redicious. It should be $1 per picture or $9.99 per month unlimited!

Honestly a great app. I downloaded it to test it out and did one of the free certifications to see how it works. It’s super straightforward. The camera captures everything with the exact GPS and time stamped right on it. I can see this being incredibly useful for documenting practically anything where you need real proof, like property damage, deliveries, or just protecting yourself in a dispute. The certified PDF it generates is clean and professional too. I'll definitely keep this on my phone
