About this app

Automobiles, home appliances, etc., which are indispensable in our daily lives, generate noises. It is impossible to eliminate the noises. Moreover, a silent machine is also not safe for us. Therefore, it is necessary to design the sound less unpleasant while reducing the noise level in product design. To achieve this, besides physical indices, perceptual indices, i.e. how people feel about sounds, are also crucial. This app is an easy tool to help you measure sound in the physical and perceptual indices.
Functions: sound scope, SPL, power spectrum, octave analysis, loudness ( ISO 532-1, Zwicker method ). Sharpness, Fluctuation Strength, and Roughness will be added in the future.
Features: simple UI to clearly observe SPL and Loudness at the same time. Spectrum, Octave Analysis are also provided to help you analyze and improve the sound quality.
