About this app

This app is for requesting transport from Life Flight and is intended for use by Hospitals, EMS, Fire, Police and Communication Centers. The app instantly alerts the Life Flight Communications Center with request details including the accurate location of the request and sends that information directly into the computer aided dispatch system. The Communications Center will verify weather/availability and launch the helicopter while calling the requestor back to provide updates. The app allows the user to track the movement of the helicopter while en route to any location as well as chat with the Communications Center for instant updates. Once downloaded, the app requires registration and approval to request a medical helicopter in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Life Flight provides rapid, high quality, critical care transport to the seriously ill and injured. The Communications Center may be contacted for transport related questions by calling 1-800-241-LIFE.
