Update 1/24: do not recc. App needs support. So many issues for such an expensive product is unacceptable. Lacks functionality. Can't control volume unless you're in the app. Yesterday, every time I opened the app to control the music, it kept bringing me to a speaker that hadn't been in use instead of the active speaker. track time is often wrong: songs starting from the beginning but showing 0:25. Only providing treble and bass sliders is insufficient. Vol stabilization btw tracks is poor.

Why is the artists section in "on my device" still in seemingly random order? It has been many years, and songs and albums are in the correct order. I realize the primary use of the Sonos is not for streaming files on a phone, but this would be such a simple fix that it's inexcusable that it hasn't happened yet. Unfortunately I realize they will probably never fix this.

The app doesn't work at all anymore. I can't play any music or set alarms. I will be ditching the whole system now and moving everything to Google devices.

What's new

Renamed the Sonos S1 Controller, this app supports systems that include the oldest Sonos products. Systems supported by this app will continue to receive bug fixes and security patches but will not receive new software features found in the new Sonos S2 app and will not be compatible with Sonos products released after May 2020.
