I have taken many road trips and have spent a lot of time scanning stations, waiting for the commercials to end, only to find out that the station doesn't play the type of music that I like.

So I started thinking that there's gotta be a better way to find the music I like while on a road trip to easily know what is available in the area that I am traveling. I'm not from there, I'm just passing through, so I don't know that Jack FM, for example, is available.

Listening to the actual radio, with FM and AM frequencies, is quickly becoming a pastime with Satellite radio and streaming over 4G and 5G mobile networks. But sometimes don't you just want to listen to the local stations to see what is going on locally as you drive across the country? I know I do.

The Road Trip Radio app uses the modern technology of the mobile device to find the old-fashioned radio stations that match your music taste anywhere in the United States and it's territories.

The app itself doesn't play the radio station broadcast, but rather it provides the frequency and call sign that you dial in to your old-fashioned analog radio. Without having to endlessly scan to find a station that you actually would like to listen to.
