About this app
Zen•Zones is an app designed to help users navigate through uncomfortable emotions and cultivate positive ones. It combines principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, Hinduism, and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to provide a holistic self-help experience.
It is presented in the form of four tabs symbolizing four places: the reception, the workshop, the garden and the lighthouse.
1. Reception: The gateway to the Zen•Zones experience, Reception, is designed to be intuitive and welcoming. Here, users can manage their profile, contact support and the author, or even delete their account if necessary. This central space also provides direct access to a carefully chosen selection of online resources, such as thematic YouTube channels, enriching the user experience beyond the application. Additionally, the Reception displays an inspiring phrase, selected by the user in the “The Lighthouse” section, serving as a motivating and personalized reminder of their aspirations and inspirations.
2. The Workshop: The workshop offers two approaches relating to a vision of an “absolute” or “relative” world.
* Absolute World: An area of introspective reflection, helping users identify and deconstruct limiting beliefs, potential sources of negative emotions.
* Relative World: Provides emotional support based on identified needs, reminding users of the transient nature of emotions and the continued existence of positive moments.
3. The Garden: A peaceful haven to record and cherish joyful childhood memories, called “seeds of joy”. These memories can be “cultivated” to reinforce positive emotions through a random draw among the recorded “seeds”.
4. The Lighthouse: A place to note inspiring future projects, acting as a beacon guiding users towards their highest aspirations.
Registration is simple with just an email and allows personalized management of the user account, including profile modification and the possibility of deleting the account.
