About this game

Mountain post roads have been split by a chain of unstable crossings. In Spanwright, you inherit a small bridge office and restore each route by working directly on a real-time miniature bridge. One highlighted cable group is adjusted at a time. Drag its brass collar among five discrete anchor slots, from looser to tighter, and watch the deck roll, twist, cable tension, tower load, and navigation clearance respond on the bridge itself. When the arrangement looks sound, press Test Crossing. The cart remains at the approach until you choose to test, and the preview and crossing use the same deterministic result.

The complete campaign contains 40 authored spans across four mountain routes, with ten levels on each route. Early jobs teach one clear adjustment and a readable target. Later jobs combine offset cargo, low arches, draw spans, broken hangers, twin decks, gorge winds, tight clearance, multiple checkpoints, and a final Grand Crossing. Eight visual prototype families define the major bridge silhouettes: Even Span, Offset Load, Low Arch, Draw Span, Broken Hanger, Twin Deck, Wind Gorge, and Grand Crossing. Individual levels then combine different loads, materials, tolerances, hazards, stage goals, and contract tradeoffs instead of relying on renamed duplicates.

The opening job is a three-step playable tutorial. It first identifies the highlighted cable and the five valid placement slots, then asks you to drag the collar, and finally leaves the crossing test in your hands. Successful and failed checks are shown on the cable, deck, tower, or clearance object that produced them. Animation, sound, checkpoint icons, and a settlement bridge plate make the result easy to read. Completing work awards Survey Stamps, Rigging Pins, and Bridge Plates. The office, span map, and bridge ledger record campaign progress and best load margins. Twelve Contract Choices can alter spare collars, move budgets, or safety conditions for the next build.

The core campaign works offline. Optional rewarded ads are limited to stage restoration, a contract redraw, or reward acceleration. They never solve a cable, reveal the correct anchor slot, or impose a mandatory energy system, and an unavailable ad does not block play. Interstitials use a cooldown and a visible waiting state. English and Simplified Chinese are included, along with separate music and sound controls, reduced motion, high contrast, and a left-hand layout option.

All pictured bridges are captured from the real Godot Forward Mobile renderer used by the game. Spanwright is an approachable rigging puzzle, not a real structural engineering simulator. It does not promise a free camera, soft-body destruction, online multiplayer, ray-traced offline models, or automatic cable tuning.
