SpeedReader shows you one word at a time in a fixed spot on the screen, so your eyes stay in one place instead of scanning back and forth across lines. This technique is called RSVP
(Rapid Serial Visual Presentation). With some practice, most readers can comfortably reach 400–600 words per minute while still following what they read.

You control the speed in real time. Turn on the ORP (Optimal Recognition Point) highlight to anchor your focus on each word, group 1 to 5 words per flash, and let smart pauses ease off
at commas and periods so longer sentences don't run together.
