A field-ready ballistics calculator.

Spotter Ready computes firing solutions and trajectory tables for practical hunting and precision rifle shooting.

It combines a physics-based point-mass ballistics solver with live weather integration, offline voice commands, and a suite of standalone ballistics tools.

All your data is yours. You manage your own backups. Nothing is uploaded to us. There is no tracking or advertising.

Features:

Firing Solution — elevation and windage corrections for a dialled-in target distance, with optional click counts and text-to-speech readout. Includes: moving target lead, cant, coriolis, wind, reticle view, etc.

Trajectory Table — Full range table with configurable columns including four independent wind hold columns. A “Reticle Card” indicates impacts in the scope reticle at various ranges and wind conditions. Both can be easily shared / exported.

Voice Commands — On-device models for continuous speech recognition; set distance, wind, and angle hands-free. Talk to the calculator when hunting and it talks back to you.

Live Weather — one-tap GPS fetch of temperature, pressure, humidity, and altitude from Open-Meteo; or connect a Kestrel or Tempest (Weatherflow) weather meter.

Live Cant and Shot Angle - Supports the use of a MantisX device to obtain cant and shot angle. Continuously adjust the firing solution based on sensor input.

Coriolis & Eötvös Correction — Optional correction for Earth's rotation and Eötvös effect, meaningful at 800+ yards; point the rear camera at the target to capture bearing, elevation, and latitude with one tap

Cant Correction — Manual cant input or tap Measure to read cant directly from the phone's accelerometer held against the scope

Stale Environment Warning — the Home screen shows "Updated X ago" for live weather, colored amber past 30 minutes and red past 60; the Firing Solution top strip shows a matching ⚠ icon that taps to immediately refresh

Shot Log - The ability to log shots for future analysis.

Chronograph Integration - Bluetooth integration with Athlon chronographs to import shot data. File import support for Garmin chronographs.

Bullet Library — Built-in database of projectiles plus the ability to add user-defined custom entries.

Reloader Mode — Optional mode that adds handloading fields (powder, charge, primer, OAL, case brand) to the load form; powder selection uses a built-in database of powders (adapted from Hodgdon) and case brand selection.

Backup & Restore — full open JSON database format export/import of all user data

Temperature-Adjusted Muzzle Velocity — profiles store an optional reference temperature and a velocity change per degree (fps/°F).

Trajectory Graphs — plot drop, windage, velocity, or energy against distance; overlay 2–4 comparison curves varying altitude, muzzle velocity, wind speed, temperature, zero range, or profile selection on a single graph.

Tools — Numerous standalone calculators (BC from velocity, BC from time of flight, point blank range, maximum distance, sunrise/sunset, group size, weather meter, trajectory truing, gyroscopic stability, target card, velocity sensitivity to temperature, reticle ranging, bullet database explorer, trajectory graphs)
