Good, But Needs Fine Tuning They seem to put a lot of effort into having signs but technical aspects of the app need help. It would be nice to have a list option, like where you hit D words and search from there. It's possible to just enter D in the search bar and it brings up some words, but doesn't load all the D words. Same problem with the baby signs, it only loads some up until the mid Bs and you can't find words like cat or dog. Like I said though, there are tons of words and can be very useful as a quick reference.
Decent bsl dictionary. Second only to bsl sign bank, which doesn't seem to have an android app format. I've just finished level 3, and this is a great help expanding my knowledge of bsl's vast and wonderful lexicon. Needs all synonyms, though. Only one sign per word, which is the shortcoming of this app.
CONTEXT. PLEASE!!! Please crosscheck after using this app. Many signs are wrongly assigned to words. Also, there's no context given to avoid embarassment. I wish someone who made the app would read these comments. THE SIGN FOR "SLOW" IS STILL "SHOW" even after update (which I posted about half a year ago). similar, sign for "safe" is listed as "save"
Love browsing international signs, but has some errors: ASL sign for quietly shows up as quickly, for example. Crashes often during search but not constantly. Wish I could just tap on a letter and browse instead of only search. Can't view all baby signs. Considering I bought the upgrade, it would be nice to view all of the baby signs at least.
Video take over sound The app is good except spotify stops whenever i'm playing a video. And also doesn't show all synonyms to a single sign
Love it instantly Very useful and easy to use. My only request is that you make the videos LOOP by default like in the desktop version. This would make it perfect!
