Tomeu is an interactive Chinese reader designed to turn Mandarin Chinese reading into an active study workflow without forcing you to switch between separate reader, Chinese dictionary, and flashcard apps.

• Immersive Reading Experience
Access and read your local offline files. Tomeu provides direct file system access to read your EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW, TXT, HTML, DOCX, and SRT files. Customize the reader with your preferred typography and themes for comfortable long-form Chinese reading.

• Dual Subtitle Video Player
Load your local video files and attach primary SRT and secondary SRT files stored across your directories to view them in our specialized interactive video player with convenient subtitle controls for Chinese immersion, Mandarin study, and language learning. For instance, you can attach Chinese subtitle as the primary subtitle and English subtitle (or your own language) for the secondary subtitle.

• Instant Dictionary Lookup
Built-in Chinese dictionary support keeps you focused on reading Chinese content. Tap any Chinese word to instantly see dictionary information, including pinyin, definition, and HSK level. Smart phrase detection automatically determines which characters belong together as a word.

• Mining Words and Sentences / Vocabulary Builder
Select a word and save it to your Vocab List with sentence context automatically included. Mined content will be highlighted in the source document, helping you build Chinese vocabulary from real content.

• Built-in Flashcards & Spaced Repetition System
Review your Vocab List using flashcards with our spaced repetition scheduler. Perfect for growing your Mandarin vocabulary over time.
