"Yes, I'm Suren't" helps you to understand if you are overconfident, underconfident, or a combination thereof! More than that, through successive play sessions, it can help you to calibrate your confidence levels and overcome these biases.

COGNITIVE BIASES, OVER- AND UNDERCONFIDENCE

Cognitive biases poison our mental processes. While it's true that we humans are all susceptible to these biases, it's also true that we can learn how much we are affected by them, and work to minimize their effect in our thinking.

And here's where *Yes, I'm Suren't* comes in. The app is designed to help you with two of these biases: underconfidence and overconfidence (this one, a close relative of the Dunning–Kruger effect!). It aids you in measuring and calibrating your confidence levels when you say things like "I am 90% sure of that!" or "sorry, no idea!". It's a tool for improving your metacognition.

NOT YOUR REGULAR QUIZ GAME

"Yes, I'm Suren't" may look like just a quiz game on the surface, but it goes beyond that. For question you need to provide not only the answer, but you also need to assess how sure you are about it. It doesn't matter if you get the answers right or wrong. What really matters is that your confidence levels match the reality!

After each play session the app will show your results, comparing your assessed certainty levels with your actual rate of correct answers. Seeing discrepancies between those is crucial to overcome under- and overconfidence.

This app does not collect any data about yourself. It doesn't track you. It doesn't store your answers or results anywhere. You can play it offline, in airplane mode or whatever — well, you need to be online during the act of purchasing the full question pack, but otherwise the app fully works without an Internet connection.
