About this app

The PeerOnCall Support app is designed for peer support providers. When paired with the PeerOnCall app, trained peer support providers in participating organizations can use PeerOnCall Support to create their profiles, indicate their availability, connect with peer support seekers and track their peer support encounters.
This Platform Offers:
+ Automated peer matching system for handling time sensitive peer connections
+ Secure and confidential in-app messaging and voice calls

Behind the App:
PeerOnCall and PeerOnCall Support were developed in consultation with workers in public safety and high-stress workforces across Canada. The original application was developed by McMaster University, in conjunction with The Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) at the University of Regina, and in consultation with public safety stakeholders across Canada. Peer on Call and PeerOnCall Support have been both operated, and delivered by Stepped Care Solutions since 2024 and continue to maintain a research relationship with McMaster.
