About this app

Stepping Forward LA's mission is to empower young adults aging out of foster care to transition successfully to adulthood and reach their fullest potential.

Stepping Forward LA was designed to elevate the voices of young adults who have been through foster care. Since our founding, their direct experience has helped us design and carry out programs that their peers need most.

Each year, 40+ former foster youth interns work with our program staff on special projects that benefit youth in the system, providing them with a meaningful way to give back to future generations.

I love this app! It allows for foster youth to have access to resource withing LA county, which is extremely important to have. This only thing is I wish there was a website so you could access all of the feature on a computer if you don't have a phone to use.

talk about community! This app has all of that plus more. its a very engaging platform with many useful things like housing, employment, documentation that is unknown to some, etc... It also has a feature like social media or tiktok called mood pallette where you express yourself, plus there is no negativity in the comments soooo I would say this deserves 5 stars if you ask me!!!!! ;) 😉

due to this app I was able to receive feedback on my resume and how I interview. their is so much more that this app has to offer. I have also been able to research housing that I didn't think was available for former foster youth aged 25+
