Stop unwanted calls before they ring. Stop It is a lightweight call blocker that puts you in control with flexible blocking rules and intelligent spam detection. FLEXIBLE BLOCKING RULES Create custom rules that work the way you want: • Exact number – Block specific phone numbers (e.g. [phone]) • Starts with – Block entire ranges (e.g. any number starting with +91674) • Ends with – Match call patterns (e.g. anything ending in 91234) • Contains – Catch specific sequences anywhere (e.g. 91234) All rules support both national and international formats. Spaces, dashes, country codes – Stop It handles them all transparently. Toggle rules on and off instantly, or delete them when they're no longer needed. INTELLIGENT SPAM DETECTION Blocked calls never reach you. Our heuristic engine auto-blocks likely spam, fraud, and telemarketing calls: • TRAI 140 telemarketer series (India) • TRAI 160 series (optional, user-controlled) • Numbers failing network verification (possible spoofing) • Carrier spam tags and classifications • Hidden caller IDs and malformed numbers • International calls (opt-in toggle) Every blocked call is logged with the reason why – no mystery. Your saved contacts are always safe; Android protects them from any screening, including Stop It. HOW IT WORKS Stop It intercepts incoming calls at the system level using Android's CallScreeningService. When a call matches your rules or triggers spam detection, it's silently rejected – no ring, no call-log entry, no missed-call notification. The app stores all rules locally on your device; nothing is sent to any server. MINIMAL PERMISSIONS Stop It only requests the call-screening role from Android – the same role used by other call blockers and spam detection apps. Once granted, you're in complete control: enable or disable blocking with a single tap. RELIABLE & FAST Built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, Stop It is lightweight and efficient. All processing happens on-device in real time. If anything goes wrong, the app fails open – calls always go through. REQUIREMENTS • Android 10 (API 29) or higher • Single call-screening role (you'll be asked to grant it in-app) One app can hold the call-screening role at a time. Activating Stop It replaces any other call screening or spam detection app (like Truecaller). Some device manufacturers (MIUI, Samsung DeX) may restrict this role due to system policies – that's a device limitation, not an app issue. Stop the spam. Take control. That's it.
