Mission Fuel is a fast, no-frills fuel-management tool for pilots who need reliable numbers in the cockpit—not a cluttered flight-planning suite. Originally designed around the needs of military rotary-wing aircrew, it works equally well for fixed-wing and helicopter pilots who want a clear picture of their fuel state.

FUEL CHECK
Start the timer with your current fuel load and check in throughout the mission. Mission Fuel calculates cumulative average burn rate, projected burnout time, and estimated time to VFR and IFR reserves. View times in local or Zulu time, set a bingo fuel threshold, and receive a clear visual warning when you reach it. Enable Precise Fuel Calculations for one-pound fuel increments.

Quickly convert between pounds and gallons using the standard Jet A conversion of 6.7 pounds per gallon.

MISSION FUEL PLANNING
Enter planned mission time—or use Syllabus Mode for tenths-of-an-hour training blocks—and expected burn rate. Calculate fuel required for the mission with VFR or IFR reserve options.

IFR CLIMB PERFORMANCE
Enter climb speed and required climb gradient to calculate the required rate of climb in feet per minute.

FAF TO MAP TIMER
Enter FAF-to-MAP distance and groundspeed to calculate approach time. Start the oversized countdown at the final approach fix and receive a clear red Missed Approach Point indication when time expires.
