Ratings and reviews

Quirky and fun with lots of build variety—I love pushing deeper in Endless Mode. That said, the difficulty spikes hard in the late stages for some characters, and even strong builds can hit a wall. Endless Mode also ramps up fast; a smoother curve would make it more rewarding. Hoping the devs tweak the balance a bit, because there's a great game here that just needs a little fine-tuning.

Despite my initial assumptions, I really enjoy this game. There's a fair amount of nuance in claw strategy - and just like most rogue-likes/lites, you live and die in the shop. My gripes: There is no damage log, so I can't find out what specifically killed me at the end of a game. I'd like to be able to tap the enemy to bring up their buffs rather than going through the menu above. It also wasn't immediately apparent to me that I could do this by going to the character menu or whatever it is.

The game is fun but not newbie friendly, and needs a good tutorial. Some things just require understanding and planning, like you're intended to fail once. I've seen instances where the starting decks are so loaded with shields and not enough weapons against honey enemies, If the newly added items get thrown into the huge ball, you end up unable to play. These enemies don't provide water. Combined with claw physics, it ruins immersion. Having to skip your turn like this shouldn't be a problem 🤷
