Park on a street that gets swept, record the street cleaning schedule from the posted sign once, and get a reminder in time to move your car.

HOW IT WORKS

Read the posted street cleaning sign. Photograph it and the app fills in a draft, or type the schedule in yourself. Confirm it — you check every field before it saves. Then get warned before the street sweeper arrives: 30 minutes, an hour, two hours or a day ahead. Add a heads-up the evening before, and a nudge if you have not opened the app since the warning.

WE NEVER TELL YOU WHAT THE SIGN SAYS

A sweeping schedule guessed from city data can be wrong, and a wrong answer here is a parking ticket, so this app does not give answers. The camera and the map fill in a draft; you confirm it; the posted sign is always the authority.

ANY STREET, ANY US CITY

The street sweeping schedule comes from the sign in front of you, so the app works anywhere in the United States. If you park in San Francisco, you can also look your block up in the city's published street sweeping schedule as a starting point — still as a draft you confirm.

North side Tuesday, south side Thursday is one reminder, not two.

WHAT YOU GET

- Weekly, monthly ("2nd and 4th Tuesday") and one-time street cleaning schedules
