About this app

You show up to the gym, don't have a plan, do a short warm-up, and go straight to projecting. Sound familiar? Flash Forward changes that.

Flash Forward is for climbers who want to bring structure to their training. Whether you're following a coach's program, a published plan, or your own system, the app gives you a simple way to build sessions once and execute them in the gym. Open the app, hit start, and follow your plan.

Build sessions from scratch or customize from a library of climbing-focused defaults. Mix on-the-wall and off-the-wall training in the same session, and pull from a broad exercise library covering strength, calisthenics, and flexibility. Set sets, reps, load, rest times, and RPE as precisely as you want, or keep it simple.

Flash Forward is the only climbing training app where you can combine warm-up, strength, flexibility, and on-wall routines in a single session. Edit reps, sets, load, or swap exercises mid-session, without stopping or restarting. Just adjust on the fly based on how you feel that day.

Train with purpose. Climb higher.

What’s new

Superset editing goes full-screen. Timing is now visible directly in the active-session edit sheet, and rest periods can be adjusted mid-session without leaving your workout.

The app also gets a refreshed look: reworked colours and surfaces for better depth and contrast, plus cleaner, more consistent list screens across the catalogue and session setup.

Also included: a create-new shortcut on the Add Item screen, and fixes for superset rest timing, long labels, and row alignment.
