Connect16 is a daily word puzzle where sixteen scattered words hide four groups of four. The rule fits in one line. Solving a board does not.

Read the sixteen words, spot the four that belong together by meaning, theme or association, and lock the set. The real pleasure is catching the trap word that appears to fit three groups at once. Scan the sixteen words slowly. Pick the four you believe belong together, submit, and find out instantly — solved categories lock to the top. Mistakes are limited, so waiting until you are sure is a legitimate strategy. When you stall, shuffle and deselect to break the arrangement. Same sixteen words, different order, and suddenly the connection you could not see is obvious. That is the trick this word puzzle keeps playing on you.
