About this app

SubnetSlinger is a network engineer's toolkit for your phone — 32 tools in one app, all free. Nothing is locked, there is nothing to buy, and there are no ads.

Ride the wire with the tools you reach for every day:
- Ping, Traceroute, and Path ping — check reachability and find where a path breaks
- Discovery — sweep your subnet and watch hosts light up on a radar view
- Port scan — check which ports are open on a host
- Wi-Fi scan — see nearby access points, channels, and congestion (something iOS can't do)
- SNMP (v2c and v3) — GET and WALK a switch or router
- DNS lookup — query A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, and more, over DNS-over-HTTPS or a resolver you pick
- SSL/TLS inspector and TLS profiler — check a certificate and how a server negotiates
- HTTP inspector — see headers and responses
- WHOIS, NTP check, speed test, and more
- Subnet calculator — plan and split networks
- MAC / OUI lookup — identify a device's vendor from its MAC address, using the full IEEE table on-device

Deputy AI and Posse AI: bring your own API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, or a local model) and get plain-language help reading a tool's output or a whole set of findings. You pick the model, and you decide when anything goes to it.

Private by design:
- No telemetry and no ads — the app doesn't phone home
- You decide when data leaves your device. The AI features only run with a key you add, to the provider you choose
- Demo mode fills every screen with realistic sample data and makes zero network calls of any kind — great for learning the app or taking screenshots without touching your real network
