Ratings and reviews

The app is great so far but has a bug that's quite inconvenient. I'm hoping to get it fixed by reviewing the app. I have the physical esv study bible, which was what brought me to the app. I really love the study bible because of all the added context and information that it provides. I recently started a study plan. My concern is that the app fails to track the verses that I have completed reading. It often puts me 2-4 days behind. I have to check them off all over again. Needs fixing

Ever since the big update a year and a half ago, this has been genuinely the most buggy app I use. I use this to ready my daily Bible reading plan passages but every few months text tracking stops working and I have to uninstall/reinstall. Today it just refuses to open without crashing so that's the last straw for me. I really wish the devs had left well enough alone. None of the updates have even been useful.

I want to like this app but it's just not good and there appears to be no progress on addressing previous bugs (text tracking with audio, reading plans won't remember a read passage, etc.) I purchased after Xmas 23, by Jan. an update changed the UI for the worse. I was under the impression this was a one-time purchase,but 1 year later, without correcting basic issues raised by multiple people in the reviews alone, the app now asks again for twice the original price. I'm sorry. I can't.
