The app has a nice basic design and is responsive. It would warrant another star if it utilized fingerprint authentication. The mobile deposit is a nice feature but it's a shame that you're charged to use it. US Bank is one of the last large banks that charge for this service which is why I won't use this feature. It saves the bank money when they conduct all of their transactions electronically so it seems like a bad idea to charge customers for this service especially when most other banks include it as a free feature.
Since the last update I am no longer sure if the pending transactions are subtracted or if I have to do it myself. I had 4 transaction in pending it showed only 3 of them added together and subtracted from the balance. I have to keep going in and out of the app to get to my calculator to figure out which transaction I need to subtract on my own. Or maybe it is subtracted for me and I just don't know? I no longer am sure what my actual balance is!
The latest version will not allow me to scroll on the checking account screen. I have two phones, a Galaxy S7 and an LG V20. Both exhibit this same issue. The checking account detail page only allows me to scroll down one line at a time. It takes forever if you need to scroll down to find a transaction. Uninstall and reinstall didn't help. Fix your app!
Used to be great but now the transaction screens and and longer screen in the side menu do not scroll more than one line at a time, no matter how fast I swipe to scroll! Very frustrating for trying to go through recent transactions.
I bank at both USBank as well as BMO Harris. BMO does NOT charge for mobile deposits via my smart phone while USBank is still charging .50 per check. Free is better! Before the most recent update, app worked fine, now it no longer works. Doesn't scroll, crashes, won't tranfer funds.
The iPhone version uses the fingerprint log in so this version is annoying because it doesn't have that feature. Also, the mobile deposit and P2P payment is free and much easier to use in my capital one mobile app. I hope you improve/add these features in future updates. I do like the ability to view and manage future payments and the ease of transfer between us bank accounts.
