I have been a US Bank customer for over 20 years and overall have been a happy customer but this mobile app is terrible. I had originally rated it at as a 4 star app years ago because mobile banking was a new thing and companies were learning as the adopted mobile support; however US Bank is way behind on their development of this app. The app is "updated" somewhat regularly but the updates rarely fix any of the issues that customers complain about in these reviews. Either no one at US Bank cares enough to take customer feedback or they simply do not care about their customers. This app is the primary reason that I have switched 75% of my banking to other institutions.
8/25 update says I'm not connected to the internet (WRONG) and just locks up. I really hope their app programmers don't have anything to do with my money. (Emailed developer and got the expected "it's just you" response.) May have to change banks. 9/21 update fixed the internet problem but was real quircky starting up. (Had to try twice.) And (sigh) the mobile deposit feature is still broken. And the first few times I've used it, I wasn't getting an all white login screen. Now I am. (Just keep tapping up there. The username box eventually gets highlighted.) And the bill payment feature is broken too. The 10/24 update is still garbage. (Still no way to enter dollar amounts when depositing or paying bills.) It's hard to believe but the 12/6 update didn't fix anything. Just made it, incredibly, even slower. 12/9 update broke the bill pay and deposit functions even more. 1/25/'17 update didn't fix anything. It just tends to crash my tablet to the point of needing a Restart. Sigh. The 3/1 update fixed nothing. Neither did the 3/22 update. And now they've broken the transfer feature too. Here comes major surprise... The 4/26 update fixed nothing.
why can they never seem to get the pay a person to work..... 90 percent of the time when using this app it doesn't allow me to make a payment or send someone money.....
Mobile deposit is there but doesn't work. Other menu items also don't function.
If touch Id worked or was an option like it is on the iPhone version this would be a good app. Lazy programming.
I don't appreciate that they track my every location and use it against me when I file a fraud claim. Especially when someone steals my wallet and uses it in the same building I'm in.
