Ratings and reviews

First many thanks to the publishers of the ESV translation for providing this app. The app has improved but there are still some notable problems. The formatting of the text does not make good use of the phone screen. Side space and newlines and spacing greatly limit how much text can be viewed at a time. It would be nice to have some user selectable options to control this. There are also bugs where some references and notes indicators cannot be selected.

This use to be a great app, but nothing seems to work anymore, now that they updated it. I have to reset my phone before I can get any sound. When I do finely get it to read the tracking doesn't work. It also starts the next verse and not the one it's set on. No way to book mark versus anymore. I just want to keep my information on my phone and not in the cloud. It is unworkable now. Can we get the old app back. The new changes would be good if the app worked. Sorry for the bad review.

Ever since the big update a year and a half ago, this has been genuinely the most buggy app I use. I use this to ready my daily Bible reading plan passages but every few months text tracking stops working and I have to uninstall/reinstall. Today it just refuses to open without crashing so that's the last straw for me. I really wish the devs had left well enough alone. None of the updates have even been useful.
