App was working fine but now it freezes on the login. The screen just shows "Authenticating" indefinitely.

Hi, I just downloaded the app and it immediately goes to username and password. But it hasn't given me the option to set it up yet. How do I register an email and password on this app? Also, is there a monthly fee to use this app?
