HOW OWL VIP WORKS

Owl VIP sends its own notifications. It does not change notification settings in the Gmail app.

To avoid receiving two notifications for the same email, turn off Gmail app notifications for each account you monitor with Owl VIP.

PRIVACY AND GMAIL ACCESS

Owl VIP uses Google Sign-In, so your Gmail password stays with Google.

Owl VIP requests only the Gmail access needed for the features you choose. Standard notifications use Gmail’s metadata-only permission to apply your rules and deliver notifications. This includes basic details such as the sender and subject, but not the email body.

If you turn on optional snippet previews, Google will ask you to allow read-only access so Owl VIP can include preview text in your notifications.

These permissions do not allow Owl VIP to send, change, or delete your emails. Owl VIP does not save email content in its database.

SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

A subscription is required to connect Gmail and use Owl VIP’s email-notification features.

Choose the Single Inbox plan to monitor one Gmail inbox, or the Up to 3 Inboxes plan to monitor as many as three Gmail inboxes with separate settings.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Pricing and any available trial are shown before purchase.

Google Workspace access may depend on your organization’s settings.
