Update: 2 years have gone by. Your response said developers were working to fix the problem. obviously, the problem IS the developers! Fire them and get new ones. Should be easy with so many ppl, even in tech, needing jobs. From 2023: Happy to get my local news but very irritated that all embedded links open to a blank page every single time, without fail. My app is up to date. I even uninstalled/reinstalled in case mine had an issue but it still doesn't work. 😕

Horribly designed app. You can not read any articles witbout subscribing - which you dont find out until after you install. There are too many freely available local news sources such as the WLOX app to make this even worth the subscription. Dont waste your time with this.

Every time a topic pops up and I click it to read it, the topic is locked. Im not paying for anything. Forget it. So I blocked all notifications and may delete the app.
