Been using for years because no good alternatives and always hoped it would get better, but it's stayed consistently mediocre. Takes forever to load, data is old, always logs you out, forgets your favorites, can't recognize your location. Now always changing pricing, pushing premium upgrades and useless tracking features. Wish they would focus on accurate data, bug testing before releasing, hiring competent programmers, and telling me it's going to be windy at my spot.

I used to use it all the time. I was even a subscriber at one time. But I started noticing that the data was always incorrect. Then they went and turned greedy. Suddenly, most of the cameras couldn't be used unless you subscribed. What is the information is not available unless you subscribe. The trend is shown that you'll barely be able to use any of their information unless you subscribe. Yeah, i'm not about getting bullied like that. I found two other apps that actually get it right. Im out.

For the free version in SoCal: It's cool they have reports with wave height, temperature, and all, but they only come through twice a day, so if you check a couple hours after the first forecast, things might be totally different. That's why you might rely on the cams which might also help you see the set frequency, but the video is so short you miss a lot and the ads are incredibly long. They also never change, and it's for stuff nobody really cares about. Just a tip if your gonna have ads at least use cookies or something so the ads dont suck. As like the only black surfer from the LBC, no matter how many times you try to get me to watch the Nascar playoffs or go to Mammoth, I won't do it. I'm just not interested Haha. Otherwise, it's a pretty ok app.
