About this app

SwapMate is a barter marketplace where you trade the things you no longer need for the things you actually want — no cash required. List an item, browse what people near you are offering, and propose a swap in a few taps.

Whether it's electronics, clothes, books, homeware, tools or collectibles, SwapMate helps you give your unused items a second life and discover great finds in your community.

Swapping is a smarter, more sustainable way to refresh what you own. Instead of buying new or letting good items gather dust, you trade directly with real people and keep more stuff in use and out of landfill.

What’s new

Your privacy, upgraded:
- Location is now stored only as an approximate area — never your exact spot.
- Your surname is hidden from other members. You now appear as your first name and last initial (e.g. "Siyabonga M.").
- Tidied up the sign-in screen.

Thanks for swapping with SwapMate!
