About this app

Hide your photos and videos in an encrypted vault. Import them, they are encrypted on your device, and the originals disappear from your gallery: anyone who picks up your phone will find nothing.

REAL ENCRYPTION
- AES-256-GCM encryption; your password is strengthened with Argon2id.
- Everything is encrypted on your device: nothing ever leaves it unencrypted.
- No accounts, no sign-up, no telemetry. The app collects no data.

BACKUP TO YOUR OWN CLOUD
- Optional backup to your Google Drive or your Dropbox: the cloud is yours, not ours. There are no third-party servers.
- Only encrypted files are uploaded, unreadable without your password - even for Google or Dropbox.
- Restore your vault on a new phone: sign in, type your password, and your files come back.
- Automatic background backup over Wi-Fi.

ACTIVE PROTECTION
- Optional biometric unlock.
- Auto-lock when you leave the app or after a period of inactivity.
- Decoy vault: a second password opens a fake vault with harmless photos, for when someone makes you open it.
- Intruder selfie (optional): if someone enters a wrong password, the attempt is logged with a front-camera photo.

DISGUISE
- The app can disguise itself as a calculator, notepad, weather app or arcade game, with its own launcher icon and name. All four disguises actually work.
- Type your access code inside the disguise to reveal the unlock screen.

FULL-FEATURED VIEWER
- Gallery with thumbnails and per-item backup status.
- Viewer with high-resolution zoom and video playback with seeking, always decrypting in memory, never to disk.
- Light and dark theme, and TalkBack support.

IMPORTANT
- There is no password recovery. The encryption is real, with no back doors: if you forget your password, nobody (not even us) can recover your files.
- The app requests access to photos and videos only to locate and delete the originals after importing them.
