Just paired this with a floor lamp I bought for my gaming area. First time I've downloaded a controller app, and I'm very happy. I was able to streamline all the RGB lighting I have in the same area. I usually do solid colors or a slow fade, so I'm not too worried about it syncing to music, but if my old arse can figure out how to use it, anyone can.

The lights are bright vibrant and beautiful The remotes are trash and the app is even worse. The lights will disconnect pretty much every time you close the app and then you have to go through the pain in the butt it is to reconnect them the controls don't seem to be as accurate as they even remotely could be much less should be

Not clear if the transition-effects are stored in the lights or set by the app. Most are pretty basic, while some are ridiculously-advanced(yet still suck, who asked for a milion strobes, or transitions to mostly go color-off-color or color-white-color? Rainbows everywhere, but complimentary colors? NO). Red-orange-yellow, fire? Any other version of flame pallettes? Simple stationary gradients? Not to be found, nor can you make custom programs.
