Open GPS Camera stamps your photos with the location, address, date, and time they were taken — right on the image, not just buried in metadata. If you need photos that can prove where and when they were shot, this does that without any fuss.

Every shot includes your GPS coordinates and a readable street address, pulled with high-accuracy location so it's not off by a block. Date and time get added automatically, and you can pick from a few formats depending on what you need. There's also a small map preview stamped onto the photo so anyone looking at it later can see the spot at a glance, not just read numbers.

If you want more than the defaults, you can add your own text to the stamp too — a site name, a job number, whatever's useful for your records. Photos save straight to your gallery like any other picture, so there's nothing extra to dig through.

I built this mainly with fieldwork in mind — inspections, construction sites, farm visits, surveying, delivery proof — but it works fine for travel photos or anything else where you'll want to remember exactly where a shot was taken. No subscriptions, no ads, no upsells. It's a camera app that does one job.

What’s new

This update adds full GPS tagging with your street address on every photo, plus an automatic date and time stamp. You can now pull up a map to see exactly where each photo was taken. The camera got some upgrades too — 1x/2x zoom and flash support are both in. Your photos are organized into a gallery you can browse by date, and the whole thing runs offline, so none of your location data or photos ever leave your phone. Still no ads.
