The Official BlackVue Dash Cameras app.

Taking advantage of a mobile or car-embedded Internet connection and a BlackVue dashcam, BlackVue Cloud connects you to your car through the Cloud. Using the BlackVue App on your smartphone or tablet, you see in real time where your car is located and what is happening around it.

You can access your dashcam through a direct connection via Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can access all the videos stored on the dashcam's microSD card, adjust the camera angle, and modify BlackVue's settings as needed. You can also apply firmware updates wirelessly (FOTA).

BlackVue Cloud is a dedicated service for BlackVue users that allows you to access your BlackVue from anywhere at any time. Creating a BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free. After creating an account, you can register your Cloud-compatible BlackVue in the app and configure it to connect to your hotspot.

Using this app for wifi only connections to your dashcam has been getting worse and worse over the years. I don't know which update did it, but I just tried to connect to my camera from the app to view some footage, and it just won't let me connect. I even deleted the connection in the app and recreated it, but it won't let me view the videos. I can change the camera settings and reboot the camera, but if I try to view the videos, it says the camera is offline. This app is unusable.

I was able to successfully connect to the cloud finally ( had to start completely fresh from the beginning), but the time stamp on my 900s is off by an hour and three minutes. I need to access the firmware setting to change the time, I think, but it keeps telling me there's an error connecting to the firmware. This needs to be fixed.

An absolutely awful piece of software. I've had cameras from most of the major manufacturers, and this is the worst of the lot. It locks up constantly, it's unbelievably slow, and getting the connectivity to work is a nightmare. And then, when it does finally work, it keeps dropping out at random. I will be avoiding Blackvue products in the future.
