About this app

Tailscale is a mesh VPN alternative that makes it easy to connect your devices, wherever they are. No more fighting configuration or firewall ports. Absolutely amazing. I've tried and tinkering with making myself a WireGuard server or making it run through OpenVPN without success, I spent weeks trying to make everything work, and then I heard about Tailscale, 10 minutes and I was already connected to my home network with my phone's data. I can finally reliably do wake up on LAN without leaving my router panel open to the outside world. Genuinely a great app. <3

Like others has said, the service is great, but the app not so much. It's pretty much bare bones, it doesn't even have a notification for when it's enabled, ideally with a disconnect button, like other VPNs. The selected exit node is forgotten when the app is swiped out of memory or a phone restart, so automation with Tasker is not very useful in this case.

Desperately needs a better way to select Exit Noses. I use this with Mullvad for easy Exit Nodes. But it is terrible having to scroll through 300+ exit nodes to reach any US-based nodes. The interface for selecting a exit node needs either a Search or a Favorite feature so I can reach my preferred nodes more easily. Scrolling through the entirety of Europe and Asia is not a good UI. Overall the app is super unrefined and clunky, and doesn't seem to get the same amount of love as the iOS version

Fixed: Exposing port 8080 to other devices on your tailnet works as expected
