Ratings and reviews

main complaints: 1. The only dating app I have ever used that kills your music when you open it. 2. major pay-to-use pitfalls 3. frequent false-notifications. many matches "send messages" that don't even exist. It's extremely frustrating when you're waiting to hear back from someone and you get these bogus notifications. then you open the app and there's nothing there.

I'll always rate shady practices 1 star. we both know you happily tell me someone has messaged me when they haven't so that way you get more general opens a day, which helps the business. thing is, I'm just gonna mute notifications entirely and I guess I won't be able to tell when someone actually messages me. I'd rather do that then be told several times a day "so and so has messaged you!" super annoying. stupid practice. edit: lol. 3 presses when I open it to say no to notifications. nice.

Most profiles are text less/minimal description, which is typical for dating app but- would have rated higher if it didn't put obviously decent/good profiles (multiple pics + a decent amount of text description) behind the "curated for you" paywall. The like button turns into a diamond which when clicked asks you to pay. I haven't found a way around it. If there is a way around it, it should be on the website. I don't want to have to reach out to customer service for this.
