Super Dim reduces screen brightness below your device's minimum for comfortable nighttime viewing.

You can apply the screen filter manually or automatically, ensuring you can enjoy your favorite content without straining your eyes. Customize your experience by choosing a color for the screen filter, and control the filter easily through a notification.
If you're stuck, you can turn off the filter anytime by simply shaking your device.

Upgrade to the premium version to extend the filter across the entire screen, including the notification area and navigation buttons*. Plus, Super Dim can detect when a screenshot is being taken with the filter applied and automatically correct it for perfect captures every time.

*To allow the filter to cover the entire screen, you need to grant Super Dim the permission to use Accessibility settings. No data will be accessed or collected when using the Accessibility service.

Ratings and reviews

Pretty useful, does its job well. Main issue I have that's keeping me from giving 5 stars is that sometimes it unpauses the filter without any input, and there doesn't seem to be a consistent way to prevent it. Pretty annoying when I'm just trying to read. It's also annoying that dimming the notification screen (where you're generally gonna be toggling this on/off) is locked behind a premium purchase, but I can't get too mad about it; it's not worth bumping it down another star over that.

Works! Using on Ulefone Armor Mini 20T. It does what it says! I paid for pro because otherwise the notifications bar remains too bright. Wish List: 1. A power saving option where instead of pausing the filter, it would close it out of running in the background. 2. A way to pause and unpause through Tasker. Right now I run my "going to bed" task and it ends with opening Superdim to remind me to unpause the filter. It's possible I just don't know how to call the quick tile.

Very good app. I wish it had a button that could turn it on like wifi, sound, ect. I have to go into the app to turn it on. But once it's on I can change the lighting in the notification area. I've experienced it being finicky and turning off suddenly. But other apps do that on my phone too. Very good for free!
