The Pharmacy App is an Android mobile application developed to overcome long-standing challenges in tracking anti-TB drug distribution across Uttar Pradesh.
The app replaces paper-based processes with a centralized, digital platform that automates data entry and reporting. It allows retailers and wholesalers to utilise their mobile numbers/license numbers, for seamless validation and user registration
Key features include capturing drug data, inventory, automatic deduction of sold quantities, and the ability to monitor drug movement. The app also captures detailed information, allowing for comprehensive monitoring of the treatment journey. This ensures better adherence to treatment, prevents drug misuse, and reduces the chances of treatment interruption or fraud.
User-friendly by design, the Pharmacy App simplifies stock input, supports reporting of expired drugs, and enhances accountability in every transaction. By digitizing and streamlining anti-TB drugs, the app strengthens surveillance, supports early case detection, and contributes meaningfully to India’s TB elimination goals.
