goWatch talks to the camera directly over Bluetooth, so you can leave your phone at home. No companion app, no Wi-Fi, no pairing dance every time you head out.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Start and stop recording
• Tag the moment while you are recording, so the highlight is easy to find later
• Find your camera with the locate beep
• See battery level and recording time at a glance
• Check free space, remaining video time, and how many photos and videos are on the card
• Switch between video, photo and multi-shot
• Load any preset your camera has
• Set a countdown before recording starts (3 to 20 seconds)
• Keep the camera connected while the screen is off
• Pair, power off and disconnect

BUILT FOR THE WATCH
Three swipeable screens: everything you need while recording is one tap away on the middle screen, camera info sits to the left, and modes and settings to the right. The design is deliberately plain and high contrast, because you are usually looking at it in bright sunlight, in a hurry, or with gloves on.

COMPATIBILITY
Works with HERO5 and newer, plus MAX, MAX 2, HERO (2024), Mission and LIT HERO.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
There is no live preview and no media download. Both of those need Wi-Fi and, in practice, a phone — and the whole point of goWatch is to leave the phone behind.

PRIVACY
goWatch collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics and no internet access at all. Bluetooth is used solely to talk to your own camera.
