About this app

Splitting a bill shouldn't take longer than the meal.

Evenly reads your receipt, lets you tap who had what, and works out exactly who owes whom — including tax, tip and service charge.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan — photograph the receipt, choose a saved image, or import a PDF
2. Assign — tap each item and pick who shared it
3. Settle — get the fewest possible payments to square everyone up

WHAT IT HANDLES
• Item-by-item splitting, so nobody pays for someone else's steak
• Shared items divided between any number of people
• Tax, tip and service charge spread fairly across the group
• Discounts and loyalty savings applied to the right items
• Several receipts in one split, each with its own payer
• Costs that never made it onto a receipt — the taxi, parking, a cash tip
• Multi-page PDF receipts
• 36 currencies
• Receipts in more than 20 languages

FOR REAL SITUATIONS
Dinner with friends. A weekend away. The weekly shop with flatmates. Anywhere one person pays and everyone else needs to settle up.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP
Your expenses stay on your device. There is nothing to register for and nothing to log into — open the app and start splitting.

ALSO INCLUDED
• Saved groups for the people you split with often
• Edit a scan afterwards if something needs correcting
• Share a summary straight to your group chat
• Dark mode

Evenly is free to use, supported by ads.
Scan a receipt, split it by item, and see exactly who owes what.
