My honest rating would be a 4.5, but we can't do half stars on here. Content is great, app works well. However for some reason since the most recent update, there is a small red bar that moves back and forth along the bottom navigation menu. It is very annoying and distracting. I'm not sure what it's accomplishing, but I promise I'm aware of the menu without the constantly moving red bar above it.

It wasn't the best app before, just a general app experience with quality content. Now, I can't even start a video, the entire thing just freezes. At one point, to see if it was just the page or a loading issue, I flipped through all the bottom options, account, listen, search, home, only to have it lock and only allow me to scroll the loaded videos. Not play them, just look. I have a healthy S20 5g, no issues with the phone or service, just a junker of an app.

We've learned of an issue that causes the app to freeze unexpectedly. If you haven't already, please try force-quitting the app and re-launching. As a last resort, try re-installing, keeping in mind that downloads and any data that is not synced to an account will be lost.

I love Ted talks BUT this app is killing my experience. It won't even let me watch a video, it Takes a long time to even start to search. I am constantly restarting the app so that I can even click the search button. I finally got it to click a video and it freezes on the play video screen and im unable to actually play the video. I will be switching back to the website until the app is fixed.
