TeleVault turns your own Telegram account into an unlimited, private backup vault for the files on your phone.

Pick a folder — your Camera, Pictures, Documents or any folder you like — choose where it should go (your Saved Messages, or a private group or channel you create just for backups), and TeleVault backs it up for you. No new cloud account, no monthly storage plan: Telegram has no storage limit, so you can back up as much as you like.

• Optionally remove the phone copy of files a set number of days after they're backed up
• TeleVault checks each file is still on Telegram before removing anything, so it never deletes your only copy

HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in with your Telegram phone number and the login code Telegram sends you.
2. Add a vault: choose a folder and a destination chat.
3. Tap Sync — TeleVault backs it up and shows you everything in the Cloud tab.

What’s new

- **Create a channel or group in the app.** "Create new channel or group" in every destination picker makes a private channel or group and selects it.
- **First-vault guide.** The Vaults tab shows a step-by-step guide until the first vault is added.
- **Automatic retries.** A failed file is retried twice on its own before it's marked failed; errors that can't clear up (file gone, no posting rights) aren't retried.
