Following the launch of Race for the Galaxy, Temple Gates Games in association with Rio Grande Games brings Roll for the Galaxy to digital life! Roll for the Galaxy is a dice game of building space empires for 2-5 players. Your dice represent your populace, whom you direct to develop new technologies, settle worlds, and ship goods. The player who best manages their workers and builds the most prosperous empire wins!

This dice version of Race for the Galaxy takes players on a new journey through the Galaxy, but with the feel of the original game.

Keldon Jones, the developer behind the Race for the Galaxy AI, is at it again with Roll for the Galaxy. This game will feature a new neural network AI that will challenge even the most advanced players.

Zero bugs here. I don't consider crashing a bug... My only complaint is that Phases aren't simultaneous with other players - only the Explore Phase.? Also, buying dice back isn't simultaneous. Like, why? Why can't we all Develop at the same time, Settle at the same time, Produce at the same time, you get the picture. Always have to "Waiting on other players". In the physical game, all Phases are simultaneous. We all buy dice back at the same time. No waiting.

New Update: I just noticed they fixed whatever the problem was and I am back to playing it all the time. There's a long learning curve, but worth the effort. Update: Something was changed in the game, and I can no longer add more than on AI player on my phone. The game is much more interesting with 4 AI players. I originally gave a 5 star review. I'll definitely put it back to five when this gets a fix. Excellent replayability, strong AI, very clean implementation of the original board game!

EDIT 1/10/2026: Update released to correct the player issue! Thanks, development team! 5 star game, definitely a favorite! Great implementation of the game with lots of replayability; I've literally played thousands of times! -2 stars as last patch broke the ability to add more players or bots to offline games (or change bot difficulty), making this far less enjoyable / playable. I look forward to changing to a 5 star rating once this is fixed back to normal!
