The ads move around the screen, jump around, cover conversations, and glitch out (trying to get you to click them fraudulently). The app crashes for no reason. Half the time I pick up a call, it doesn't go through. The app doesn't separate texts from calls, so it's impossible to keep track of conversations. The app logs you out, so you miss calls. The app needs you to use it every 15 days or it deactivates your number. This is a disaster of a free messaging app; there are far better options.

There's no way to send feedback in the app. It just goes to help articles on the website. There is no message icon on inbox page. You have to add to contacts before you can send a text and send from contacts list. Full of ads, but quiet. Payment options seem ok. There's no way to earn credits to use for free, so why ads, then? Works on Wi-Fi. It's a maybe, not sold.

I've used this app for several years, and it has usually worked well. I could receive 2 factor authentication texts, which is a real necessity these days. I've used the free version, but recently, when trying to receive a 2fa text, I get a message from Text Me, saying I can't receive this type of text unless I pay for premium subscription. I wouldn't mind paying a fair fee, but Text Me is asking for $6.99 per week!! Sorry, but I can't afford that.
