Ratings and reviews

Would like to support Canadian organization and content, but $9 per week (after the initial trial period), is a bit steep. Will stick with The Guardian for less than half that at $15 per *month*. Replying to developer response - *I recommend* that you outline any promotional offers up front. It's not my job to go calling customer support to find out what offers you might have available. If there are other offers, then let people know what they are. Sounds pretty simple to me 🤷

The sensitivity with which ads are opening while you attempt to scroll past make the app almost unsuable. It is difficult to read an article without unintentionally clicking on an ad link and being redirected outside of the app. I haven't been able to read a single article without this happenimg several times.

The app itself is okay, but I’m giving a low rating because the subscription experience is unnecessarily difficult. I can subscribe digitally online, but to cancel my digital-only subscription I’m required to call customer service during business hours. There should be an online cancellation option for an online subscription.
