I stayed with the lbc app rather than global player, because it (global) had issues with my choppy data signal, where it wouldn't just carry on playing once it reconnected. The new lbc app has that same problem. Also, if I download a catchup program and start it playing, I don't expect it to have problems if my data signal drops because the whole app locks up whilst it tries to reconnect, despite the show being offline. Poor effort.

I find the global app very efficient and easy to use. I listen mostly to LBC but when I fancy some music there's a huge choice available to me on the same app. I love the catch up feature but would like to be able to access pod casts on the android version as I understand it's available on the Apple version. I use it wherever I am in the world and it keeps me in touch with events at home.

Terrible. Simply does not load any program except love now. The live program does not allow to track back , except the beginning. Ironically everything works like a charm in the web edition. Offline podcasts suddenly stop and require internet access to continue. Why download for offline if I still need internet access. ?
