Billfinch is a thermal printer app for small shops. Print clean receipts with your logo, QR and barcode on a 58 mm or 80 mm Bluetooth receipt printer. Printing is free with no limit and no watermark. It also works as a POS thermal printer driver, so Chrome, PDF files and your POS app print through it.
CLEAN RECEIPTS ON CHEAP PRINTERS
Billfinch draws the whole receipt as one black and white picture, then sends it to the printer. The paper preview is exactly what comes out: no random symbols, no wasted paper.
PRINT FROM OTHER APPS AND A WEB POS
Billfinch works as the ESC/POS print service and POS printer driver for your thermal printer:
• Print menu: in Chrome, a PDF, Gallery or another POS app, choose "Billfinch thermal printer". The page prints on 58 or 80 mm roll paper with no margins. Turn it on once in Android Settings › Printing
• Share or Open with: send a PDF, picture or text to Billfinch and tap Print once
• Web POS: your page opens a billfinch://print link (or intent:// in Chrome) and the receipt prints at once, with no dialog, after you allow it one time. It takes text, simple HTML, a picture (base64 or URL) or raw ESC/POS. Developer guide: https://tinyfair.my.id/billfinch/developers/
SET UP IN 3 STEPS
Pick your printer and Billfinch prints one test sheet by itself: a paper width ruler and 3 blocks in different picture modes. If it looks right, tap "It printed fine". If not, tap the number that printed cleanly and choose 58 or 80 mm.
CONNECT YOUR PRINTER
• Bluetooth: pick a printer already paired with your phone, whatever its name
• Wi-Fi printer by IP address, port 9100
• USB cable with an OTG adapter
• Advanced: 48 or 80+ mm paper, and a slower sending speed for slow printers
YOUR RECEIPT TEMPLATE
• Shop name, address, phone and footer
• Logo from your shop initials, or your own picture
• Your own QR, such as a static QRIS code or a link. Billfinch only prints it; it does not process payments
• Code 128 barcode and automatic receipt numbers with your prefix
• Tax included in prices or added on top
A BILL PRINTER FOR THE COUNTER
To print receipt slips fast, just type: item name, Enter, price, Enter, and the next line appears. Items you sold before are suggested with their price, everything saves by itself, and the Print button stays at the bottom: two taps from the home screen to paper. Set the quantity, add a discount, then take cash and see the change, or mark the sale paid by QR or card. Prices use your country's currency.
HISTORY AND PICTURES
Receipts are grouped by day: search them, print one again, or share it as a PNG image. You can also print a photo or logo in black and white.
WHICH PRINTERS WORK?
Works with most ESC/POS Bluetooth thermal receipt printers, 58 mm and 80 mm. Label printers (TSPL) and cat printers are not supported yet. Have a 58mm thermal printer at the counter and an 80 mm one in the kitchen? Pro keeps both.
