Passlark is a passport photo maker for your phone. Take a photo or pick one from your gallery, and Passlark swaps the background, crops the picture to the size your document asks for and checks the head size before you save. Your photo is processed on the phone and never uploaded.
One app works as a 2x2 photo maker for US passports, a visa photo editor and an ID photo maker for ID cards and residence permits.
PICK YOUR DOCUMENT
Choose a country and a document: passport, visa, ID card, residence permit and more. Passlark follows the published size rules for each one, such as 2x2 inches for a US passport photo, 35x45 mm for a Schengen visa photo, or 3x4 and 4x6 for Indonesia.

Use the front or back camera with an oval guide for your head, or choose a picture with the Android photo picker.
BACKGROUND AND CROP DONE FOR YOU
On-device background removal turns a busy wall into a plain background, even without a connection. Face detection finds your eyes and sets the head height and position for the document you picked. You can still drag and zoom by hand.
CHECK BEFORE YOU SAVE
A check list looks for one face, a straight head, open eyes, the right head size and a plain background. Pick the background color your document allows: white, off-white, light gray, light blue, blue or red.
SAVE, PRINT OR SHARE
Save the digital ID photo to your gallery at the exact pixel size of the document. Or make a 4x6 inch (10x15 cm) print sheet with several photos at 300 DPI, as a PNG and as a PDF at the exact physical size, and print it at a photo shop. You can share the file straight from the app.
